Welcome to Ms. Woodruff's Class Website
April 18- to the End of Closure
Revised April 18
Dear Parents and Children,
Starting tomorrow, April 19, everything will be at Canvas and no longer here at our Weebly site.
Please login to Canvas for everything.
For: Jane Doe
123456 (lunch number or school ID)
Canvas is: https://slcschools.instructure.com/login/canvas
username [email protected] (first name, dot, last initial, last three numbers of lunch number, @slcstudents.org)
password jd123456 or 123456 (initials plus lunch number or just lunch number---inconsistent from child to child
and I can't change it)
One parent reported he got into Canvas using only the initials and lunch number for both the username and password. Another child uses initials and lunch number for the user name, and lunch number only for the password!!
Click on <home <modules <Monday, etc.
Canvas assignments will actually be posted on Sundays each week and just one day at a time, and children master the entire lesson before going on to the next day or week.

For your child if s/he struggles with composition/writing, PLEASE USE Utah Compose as much as your child can handle now and thru the summer. It is very beneficial and optional for everyone and the children love it. First, choose any topic of interest and next I suggest writing a paper organizer (usually a web or bubble organizer, but a T Chart for opinion writing) rather than one of the site's online organizers. Then look back at your organizer and number each parts of your organizer in a logical order for your composition. Have fun writing and submitting to get feedback!!!
